-Endowment Fund

This fund was established in 2015 with the intent of handling monetary donations and non-cash donations, including stock, land, and estates. Funds are managed and invested by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque (CFGD).

Why Donate to the Endowment Fund?

Donors receive a federal tax deduction and may be eligible for the 25% Endow Iowa Tax Credit.

The funds are distributed solely by the Library Board of Trustees for:

Operating Expenses in Lean Years
Building Maintenance & Improvement
Enhancing Library Services

*Due to changes in Iowa Legislation all donations that will be tied to an Iowa Tax Credit must be made by June 1st of the tax year the credit is applied too.
