2016 TAX INFORMATION
All information on this page is accurate, to the best of our knowledge, as of 01/2016.
What forms does the library have?
Mid- to late January, the library will receive a limited number of paper copies of the following IRS products, due to budget cuts at the IRS:
Other federal forms, booklets, and instructions, including those for previous years, can be found and printed at the IRS website. The State of Iowa no longer provides a master form book to libraries for copying. We make a few masters of major forms for you to photocopy. Anything else can be found on the State of Iowa tax site.
Library staff can assist you in finding and printing the forms you need. Library staff cannot tell you what forms you need, help you fill out your taxes, or provide any legal advice. Printing and copying costs $.25 per page for black & white and $.50 per page for color.
Please call ahead (319-462-2183) to make sure we have what you need. You can always use our computer stations to print what you need from the IRS and State of Iowa tax sites.
